FAQ
For townships, villages & cities
Is it really free?
Yes. The transparency view, contract-renewal radar, grant matching, grant history, and audit-readiness checklist have no paid tier — see the Data Protection Pledge for why. No card required to sign up.
How do I sign up?
Get started on the portal. If your entity isn’t listed yet, use the request-access flow there and we’ll add it.
Can I correct data you have about us?
Yes — that’s the point of the transparency view. Corrections you make are kept separate from our raw collected data and always win on your dashboard.
For contractors & vendors
What plans are there?
Free historical browse (signals 12+ months old, no card), County Watch ($50/mo, one county + category, 14-day free trial), and Statewide Category Access ($150/mo, one category statewide, 14-day free trial). Pay-per-lead ($25) is also available for one-off opportunities — see For Contractors & Vendors.
How do I cancel a paid subscription?
Log into the portal dashboard, open Manage billing / cancel subscription, and enter the email you subscribed with — Stripe emails you a magic link to Stripe’s own billing page, where you can cancel or update your card. No call or email needed.
When does cancellation take effect?
Stripe schedules it for the end of your current billing period by default, not immediately — your dashboard will show “cancels <date>” once that’s scheduled, so you always know where it stands.
Will I be charged during the free trial if I cancel?
No — cancel before the 14-day trial ends and you won’t be charged at all.
What happens to my account after I cancel?
You keep your login and your leads history — nothing is deleted. You stop getting new alerts, and your dashboard can still browse signals 12+ months old for free. Resubscribe any time to pick alerts back up.
General
How do I get help or ask a question?

Do you sell my data or my entity's compliance gaps?
No. Read the full Data Protection Pledge for exactly what we do and don’t share, and with whom.
